Wrap up of 2007.
The club had its first social function on the 23 March with the Jumper Presentation night It was good to see a few of the supporters come down to meet some of the new players and coaching staff. The club is really keen to get as many supporters to our social functions as possible this season, so if you have any of the nights free please come down, they are always great evenings.

On May 5th we will be having former Seaford player Rohan Gazzard performing his Comedy/Hypnosis night The details of this night can be found by following this link. To book a ticket. please call Lisa on 0401 017 772. It was a great night last year and must be seen to be believed with guaranteed laughs all round.

We will also be going ahead with a new concept that the club introduced last year, the Player Auction, which will be held at the clubrooms after our fist home game against Hastings on 12 May. What occurs here is all players, from under 18s through to seniors, will be grouped up, with approximately 25 groups of 6 to 7 players. Each group will be auctioned off with the highest bidder winning the ownership of that group. If a player in your group receives man of the match honours in either Colts, Under 18s, Reserves or Seniors, you will receive a $30 drink card that can be used at the clubrooms. At the end of the season the total votes that your players receive will be added up with the owner of the most successful group wining $500 cash. The make-up of each group Will be decided in the next couple of weeks so check the website for this. If you have no access to the internet the groupings will be handed out at the gate on game day.
