To all
concerned,
Some of you may or may not be aware that
Seaford Football Club has recently received
a Community Award from the Bendigo Bank for our work
at the beginning of the year at Kinglake,
along with this award came a donation from Bendigo Bank
to the value of $7,000.
This is a huge reward for our football club
based on a community service we were all proud to be involved in
and most importantly looking for no reward.
Recently the Bendigo Bank have approached me
and asked if we would have any volunteers
that would kindly assist in delivering some Christmas Hampers
in the local area for some under privileged families
that they expect to have nothing for Christmas
in which I, on behalf of Seaford Football Club
have kindly agreed upon,
the more hands available the quicker the exercise.
All that is required is yourself, a car to distribute some hampers, and
a club shirt representing SFC.
If you are interested in helping out please meet at
4.00pm

It would be great to get some good numbers to help out representing the
Seaford Football Club,
below is a press release which will be posted in the local paper
along with a photo on the day.
Hope to see you on Thursday.
SOUTHERN Life Community
Care
supported by the Carrum Downs Community Bank and Seaford Football Club,
put together more than 200 Christmas Hampers for local community families last
week.
The hampers were funded by the bank and distributed
by members of the Seaford Football Club.
Founder of Southern Life Paul Lansdown,
said many families in the area were struggling this Christmas.
“We wanted to bring Christmas cheer to as many as possible,”
Mr Lansdown said.“While many local families get together and enjoy Christmas
Day,
many others will spend it alone,” he said.
“Thanks to $5000 from the Carrum Downs Community Bank and physical help
from the football club,
people struggling to purchase basic food and groceries will enjoy some
goodies over Christmas.
